“Unfortunately greed once again rears its yapping head … I would advise against it even for the most rabid completists.” – Lemmy Kilmister
A new box set has been released for Motorhead. The Complete Early Years Box Set came out yesterday, and lead singer and bassist Lemmy Kilmister is telling his fans not to buy it.
The band doesn’t own the rights to their early material, and the record company has released it with an outlandish price of almost $650 US. The band have no control and they don’t want fans thinking they’re involved in something like this.
They have their own DVD release along with a new album “The World is Yours”, and hope fans choose that over the Early Years set.
