Pete Townshend did what!?

May 16th, 1969, during the who’s performance at the Fillmore East in New York, a plain clothes policeman rushes the stage to altert the band of a fire that has just broken out. Pete Townshend thinks he is just another crazy fan trying to rush the stage and kicks him off the stage, literally! Things didn’t go to well for Pete, he was arrested. Thankfully, everyone agreed it was a misunderstanding, he was fined $30 and released.
